Anyone remember four candles/ fork handles on Ronnie Barker comedy? what a hoot!? I have forgotton the name of the prog. Thanks Barry.... I have found it now..... I am learning every day.... Brilliant!

Anyone familiar with the Two Ronnies 'Fork Handles/4 Candles' sketch? Other than Fork Handles and Hose / "o's" whar else was Ronnie Barker asking for??

The two ronnies sketch when Ronnie Barker goes into the hardware shop..? what does he ask for? So far me and my mate can remember four candles (Fork-handles)., Ose (The letter O`s) and Plugs.. what else was there or was that all????

Dolores & the prune replied: "Beside the "O"s, he asks for "peas". He also asks for "pumps" - turns out he wants a pair of plimsolls (sports shoes). Edit: Ooh, just remembered "saw tips". I recall the sketch ended with a drawer showing the label "bill hooks" so I can only imagine what he had written on his list!"

geniusrus replied: "He asks for saw tips (for his saw to cover them), P's (tins of peas), Pumps (as in trainer pumps),Washers (as in what you put on thetaps), I think that is it, i know in then end Mr Jones comes out to get some Bill Hooks, but i can't remember there being anything else."

4 candles / fork handles up for auction.. wonder how much it would go for ? the classic 2 ronnies sketch made by gerald wiley (Ronnie Barker R.I.P's writing alias) for those who never saw this classic sketch, from 1976 =) thanks to all who answered =)
